James V. R. Clark
James V. R. Clark, 73, widower of the late Mrs. Mae (Lowe) Clark, died
Sunday, May 6, 1956, at his home, 247 Main St., Matawan.
He was born in Raritan Township, so of the late Cornelius VanRiper and
Mary (Aumack) Clark.
Mr. Clark was a machinist by trade. He was a member of the Midway Hose
Company, Matawan and belonged to the B. P. O. E. Lodge 233, Red Bank.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Suella Stultz, Keyport; three brothers,
T. Russell, River Plaza, Daniel A., Keyport, and LeRoy, Hazlet.
Funeral services were held yesterday at 3 p.m. at the Bedle Funeral Home,
Matawan, with the Rev. Lawrence R. Bailey, pastor of the First Baptist
Church, Matawan, officiating. Interment was in Green Grove Cemetery, Keyport.
