Mrs. Druscilla Arose, 89, a former resident of Keyport, widow of John Henry Arose, and mother of William Arose, and Thomas Hoffman, of Keyport, died Friday, May 23, 1941, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alberta Dock, in Asbury Park. Mrs. Arose was born in Fair Haven, the daughter of Richard B. and Alice (Soden) Morris.

Surviving, aside from the children previously mentioned, are two sons, Lester, of Vineland, and Edward, of Greenport, L.I., and two daughters, Mrs. Ida Jorgenson, of Perth Amboy, and Mrs. Bessie Martin, of Union Beach. Services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Bedle Funeral Home, Keyport, with the Rev. Lynn H. Corson, pastor of the Calvary Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Green Grove.
