Clara Stout Carhart


    Clara Stout Carhart

      Mrs. Clara Stout Carhart of Hazlet passed away Tuesday evening at 5:10 o'clock, after a lingering illness, at the age of 69 years and 5 months. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Carhart. She was twice married, her first husband being Peter Stout, who died in 1904. On July 19, 1916., she married Rev. W. W. Carhart, who survives her. The deceased was a member of St. John's M. E. Church. Beside her husband she is survived by a niece, Miss Edith Stout, of Everett and a nephew, Harry Stout, of Red Bank. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at her late home at 2 o'clock. Rev. H. D. Stratton will officiate and interment will be in Green Grove Cemetery.
