Mrs. Julia M. Gorey McDonald died at the St. Columbus Hospital in New York last Sunday from pleuro-pneumonia. She was twenty-four years old and was the daughter of Mrs. Hannah Gorey. The family lived for a number of years in the Sullivan homestead on Broadway, near the Keyport-Matawan line. The house was destroyed by fire about three years ago. When a girl Mrs. McDonald attended the graded schools of Keyport, St. James' School in Red Bank and later was a student at St. Elizabeth's College at Convent Station. Besides her mother, the deceased leaves surviving her husband, John J. McDonald, and a son, John McDonald. The body was brought to the home of her aunt, Mrs. Catherine V?. McCarthy, in Red Bank, and the funeral was Wednesday morning at St. James' Church, where solemn high mass was said. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.
