Phoebe Bailey

Mrs. Phoebe Bailey, widow of Joseph Bailey, of this place, died at the residence of her grandson at Atlantic Highlands, on Sunday, aged 86. Mrs. Bailey was born in Raritan Township and was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Clark. Her husband died nineteen years ago.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by six children, viz.: William C. Bailey, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Mrs. Phoebe Scott, of Jersey City; Horatio Bailey, of Atlantic Highlands; Mrs. Jennie Selleck, Joseph E. Bailey, and Mrs. Louise Selleck, of this place.

The funeral services took place from the residence of Joseph E. Bailey on Fulton street, on Tuesday afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock from St. John's M.E. church, South Keyport; interment in Cedarwood Cemetery.
