Miss Margaret Throckmorton, a wealthy maiden lady, of Red Bank, died at the family homestead on Sunday, aged 70 years, 3 months and 17 days. She was a daughter of the late Edmund and Susannah MacLaren Throckmorton, and was a grand niece of Governor Tompkins of New York. Mrs. Throckmorton leaves an estate estimated at $50,000 and four nieces and nephews to share it. The funeral took place from her late residence at one o'clock this afternoon, the Rev. Thaddeus Wilson conducting the services. There was a large number of friends and relatives present. The interment was made in the Presbyterian burying ground at Shrewsbury.
