Louis D. LIBERTY, 76, died in Morris Hospital Sunday following a lingering illness. The body is at Reeves Funeral Home where friends may call 7 to 10pm today. Services will be from the funeral home at 9:15 am Tuesday to Assumption Catholic church. The Rev. James McDERMOTT will officiate. burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington. Mr. LIBERTY was born in Aux Sable Township and farmed in the Elwood area for many years before retiring in 1937. For the past four years he had resided in the home of a daughter, Mrs. William PHILLIPS, here. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. William (Loretta) FEENEY, Morris, Mrs. Everett (Frances) DEMPSEY, Lockport, Mrs. William (Josephine) MURPHY, and Mrs. William (Evelyn) PHILLIPS, Coal City, Mrs. John (Marjorie)BELL, Joliet: three brothers, Edward of Channahan, Henry of Naperville and George of Spencer, 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
