ROSSVILLE MAN DIES AT HOSPITAL
Zachariah NORTON, broom maker and former farmer, many years a resident of Rossville, died at St. Elizabeth's hospital at 2:20 o'clock Saturday
evening after a long illness. He had been there for two weeks undergoing a course of medical treatment.
He was born Dec. 8, 1849 in Maine, the son of John and Ruth McMINN NORTON. The body was removed to the Berhalter undertakling parlore, prepared for burial
and remained there until Monday afternoon when it was taken overland to Rossville going direct to the Church of Christ whre services were held. Burial
was in Evergreen cemetery.
