VERY SUDDEN DEATH FROM DIPTHERIA
Mrs. Louis LIBERTY Becomes Victim of the Disease After Illness of Only Two Days
Elwood, July 17 - Mrs. Louis LIBERTY, wife of a farmer who lives three miles west of this place, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock of diptheria, aged about 40 years. Besides her husband she leaves four children and two of them are down with the disease. Mrs. LIBERTY was ill but two days and Thursday she was in Elwood to consult a physician who diagnosed the case as one of diptheria in its most virulent form and too far advanced to give any hope of saving her life. Grave fears are entertained for her children.
