John F. Andres, 68, of Holiday Florida passed away (of a heart attack) April 26, 1977. Born to Josef & Anna Andres, on May 14, 1908 in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the youngest of their four boys.

John is survived by his wife Mary Hornsberger Andres, of Holiday, Fl., and two daughters: Marion E. Staack (Fred) of Phoenix, Arizona and Phyllis E. Doherty of Elgin, Illinois. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: James and Sharon Boginski of Aurora, Illinois; Robert Staack of Phoenix, Arizona; Jeffrey and Theresa Calhoon of Elgin, Illinois; Kenneth, Donna, Garrett, Jodelle, and Maureen Doherty of Elgin, Illinois. He is also survived by a brother Joseph and wife Barbara of London, Ontario, Canada.

John was preceeded in death by an infant son, and a daughter, Genevieve B. Calhoon of Elgin, his mother Anna Jakubowski of London, Ontario, Canada; and two brothers: Henry and Jacob of Germany. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 1st at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Elgin, Illinois. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Elgin.

John worked for Toastmaster Products in Elgin for 35 years before his retirement to Florida.
