Genevieve B. "Jean" Andres - Calhoon, 36, of Elgin, Il., died Saturday May 9, 1970 at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove, Illinois of stomach cancer. She was born July 25, 1933, in Regina, Sask., Canada, to John and Mary Andres. Jean was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone Co. of Elgin.

She was preceeded in death by a brother in infancy. Survivors include her husband, Clairon L Calhoon, a son Jeffrey, and daughter Theresa. She is also survived by her parents John & Mary Andres of Holiday, Florida; a sister, Marion E. Staack of Phoenix, Arizona; and a sister, Phyllis Doherty of New Port Richey, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be 9:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church in Elgin. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Elgin, Illinois.
